Warning: paid $80 for a time tracking app that barely did what a free spreadsheet does
I dropped $80 on Toggl Track's premium plan hoping it'd magically fix my procrastination, but all it did was show me how much time I waste opening it. The free version of Clockify actually tracks my hours better without the fancy charts. Anyone else fall for a pricey tool that didn't deliver?

Buddy of mine bought a fancy habit tracker app for like 60 bucks. He used it for two days, then went back to writing stuff on a sticky note.

Read somewhere that like 80% of people ditch paid habit apps within a week, which honestly makes sense. Sticky notes don't need updates or subscriptions (big selling point there).

The trick is to pay for something that forces you to actually check in, like a coach or a group. Otherwise yeah, a piece of paper does the same job for free.
