Had to choose between chasing a late client or letting it slide for $600
I got stuck deciding whether to keep calling a client who owed me $600 for three weeks or just write it off and move on. I pushed for payment, sent three follow ups, and finally got a check yesterday but now they say I'm too pushy. Has anyone else had a client pay up but then act like you're the bad guy?

They paid up, now they're mad. Classic." Right? Like what did they want a trophy for finally doing what they were supposed to do? So they paid after three weeks of chasing and now you're the bad guy. What exactly did they say when they called you pushy? I'm curious if they gave a real reason or just got defensive because they felt guilty about taking so long.
