My accountant told me to stop sending invoices on Fridays because people forget over the weekend, and after switching to Mondays my average payment time dropped from 22 days to 14.
Has anyone else found a specific day of the week that gets you paid faster?

Wait, wouldn't Monday invoices just get lost in the Monday morning pile? I've always heard Tuesday or Wednesday works better.

My old boss swore by sending invoices at 9 AM on Monday. He said people are fresh and actually open their email.

Monday morning is the worst time for invoices, @abby_murphy is right. Everyone is just deleting spam and planning their week. That invoice is getting ignored until Friday.
