Overheard a guy at the coffee shop say he never sends a contract.
He was bragging about how he just trusts people. My last invoice for $2,500 is 60 days late because I skipped a signed agreement with that client. Now I'm stuck sending polite emails that get ignored. Always get it in writing, even if they seem nice. How do you get someone to sign after you've already started the work?

What, you thought trust paid the bills?

Read a study showing trust actually does boost sales and repeat business.

Ever notice how people who say stuff like that are always the ones cutting corners? Like the landlord who won't fix the heat but expects rent on time.

Oh, so trust is just the bill you pay with good intentions?
