TIL sending a bill as a PDF link instead of an attachment got me paid in 2 days

I always attached my invoice PDFs directly to emails. For a $750 project, I used a free tool to upload the PDF and sent the client a link instead. They opened it right away and paid the same day, which never happens. I guess the link shows up better on phones and doesn't get caught in spam filters. Has anyone else switched to sending bills this way and seen faster payments?

Yeah, I switched to links last year and my average payment time dropped by half.

I'm still waiting on checks from 2018, so maybe I should try that.

Now everyone has to click some random link and hope it actually opens instead of just getting an email with a payment attached. Sounds like trading one hassle for another.

My invoices probably get flagged as spam by my own email.
