Episode 12 of that true crime doc made me shut my laptop

I was about 40 minutes into a five episode series on a 2003 cold case in Buffalo when the narrator casually dropped a detail that matched a street name from my own childhood block. I paused, rewound it three times, and then Googled the case file. Turns out a house six doors down from my grandmother's was the crime scene, and I had walked past it for years. I couldn't finish the series that night, and honestly it took me two days to go back. Has anyone else ever had a show hit that close to home and how long did you wait before rewatching?
