I finally caved and got a 4K streaming box for my old TV

Spent about $80 on one of those little sticks last month because my smart TV apps were so slow it was killing the vibe. The difference is wild, shows like The Bear look way sharper and everything loads instantly. Honestly it feels like I got a whole new TV without the big price tag. Anyone else upgrade their setup just for a better binge experience?

Totally agree! It's amazing what a simple streaming stick can do for an older TV. It basically gives you a whole new smart system without the cost of an upgrade.

Same thing happened with my old bedroom TV. The built in apps got so slow I would just give up and use my laptop. Grabbed a cheap streaming device on sale and it was a total game changer. No more waiting for Netflix to load or dealing with weird crashes. Makes you wonder why smart TVs even bother with their own software sometimes. What show looked the most different on your new setup?
