My barber shop playlist turned into a show recommendation goldmine
I spend 45 minutes every other Saturday getting my hair cut at this shop in Portland, and the owner just streams random shows on the wall TV. Last visit he put on a Scandinavian crime drama I'd never heard of, and I ended up binge watching the whole first season by Monday. Has anyone else gotten good show leads from waiting rooms or other random places?

Barber shops are weirdly good for that. Guys who cut hair all day have seen every show twice and they don't push the obvious stuff on you. Mine got me into a British detective thing I never would have found on my own.
