My weekend binge plan just fell apart when the streaming service crashed

I was three episodes into a new show on Saturday night when the whole app just stopped working. The screen went black and a weird error code popped up. I tried restarting my tablet and the router, but nothing fixed it for about 45 minutes. What do you guys do when your streaming goes down in the middle of a good series?

I used to just sit there hitting refresh for an hour. Last year my internet went out for a whole Sunday and I finally picked up a book I'd had for months. Now I keep a paperback on the coffee table just for streaming crashes. It feels less frustrating if I have a backup plan ready. That error code is basically my signal to switch to chapter three instead of episode three.

Ha, right? My backup plan is usually rerunning the same load of laundry I forgot about for three days. That error code is the most productive part of my weekend.

What error code do you get? I'm with @dianawilson, having a book nearby makes the whole thing way less annoying.
