Pro tip: Holding off on a show until all episodes are out improved my viewing
I got tired of forgetting plot points between seasons. Waiting for the whole thing to finish let me binge it straight through. It made a huge difference for keeping the story fresh in my mind.

Totally get the "forgetting plot points" thing. My own memory is so bad I once started a show's new season and spent twenty minutes convinced a main character was a brand new person. I had completely forgotten his entire arc. Now I just wait and mainline the whole story in a weekend like some kind of plot addict. It's the only way I stand a chance.

Do you ever try quick recaps before jumping into a new season? I started reading short episode summaries online to jog my memory. It takes ten minutes, but then I remember who did what to whom. For me, a quick refresher works better than waiting to binge it all at once.
