PSA: I wasted 3 seasons watching shows at 1.5x speed on my phone and then realized I could not name a single character
Last Tuesday I was folding laundry with some crime drama running at 1.5x on my phone, and my wife asked who the guy in the vest was. I had no idea, and I had watched 8 episodes of that show. I was basically speed reading a book while someone else read it out loud. Now I put my phone in the other room and watch one episode a night on the actual TV with the sound up. Anyone else had to relearn how to just sit and watch a thing?
