Remember when you had to buy whole seasons on DVD to binge?
I dropped about $80 on the complete series of 'The Wire' on DVD back in 2010. It felt like a huge investment at the time, but it saved me because my internet was so spotty. Now I look at my streaming tabs and wonder why I ever bothered with all those plastic cases. Anyone else have a box set that was totally worth the cash back in the day?

Actually, those plastic cases were the best. You really owned the show, no internet needed, no surprise when it disappears from streaming. My Buffy box set still has all the original music, not the weird replacements on streaming now. Plus the extras were real, like cast commentaries you can't find anywhere online. Streaming is just renting, but those DVDs were yours for good.

My Buffy DVDs have more loyalty than my last three streaming services combined, @grace_kelly45.

How many episodes got their music changed on streaming?

Sure, it was nice to own a show, but let's be honest, most of those box sets just gathered dust after one watch. The convenience of streaming wins out, even with the music swaps and stuff. It's just TV, not a family heirloom.
