Rewatched The Wire after 10 years and it hit totally different as an adult

Wait until you rewatch season 4 as a parent. That school system storyline hits completely different when you realize how many kids just get chewed up and spit out. I remember thinking Prezbo was just some washed up cop the first time around. Now I see him as maybe the only adult in that whole show who actually tries to do something right. Also, you gotta bump up the audio mix on your TV or something because half the dialogue is mumbled under street noise and you'll miss key stuff.
