Vent: a museum curator told me my pattern welded billet looked like a rainbow at a demo in Tulsa, and I'm still mad about it
I spent 6 hours stacking 15 layers of 1084 and 15n20 and got the weld perfect, and this guy walks up and says it looks like a unicorn threw up on a knife. Is contrast actually bad now or was he just being a jerk?
