Finally saw the rulebook for a game I've played wrong for 3 years

Found out at a convention last weekend that in Castles of Mad King Ludwig, you're supposed to count the orange rooms differently than I've been doing. How does a whole play group miss something that obvious for that long?

Feel your pain hard. Our group played Dominion for two years before we realized you don't shuffle every card every turn. Felt like idiots when we finally read the manual again. The orange room thing in Castles is super easy to miss though, especially with all the tile types.

Dude, my buddy played Terraforming Mars for like a year before someone pointed out he'd been skipping the whole global event phase every round. He was just like "uhh the game felt kinda easy I guess." lmao

Make a house rule sheet for new games your group picks up, saves everyone from three years of wrong scoring.
