Just hit 100 games played this year and im kinda shocked

I set a goal of 50 games for 2024 but somehow ended up at 100 last week after a marathon night of Carcassonne and Everdell. Anyone else ever blow past their own expectations like that? How did it happen for you?

Isn't it funny how that happens? I had a similar thing last year where I planned for maybe 40 games and then suddenly it was December and I was at 75. Board game nights just kind of snowball on you once you get rolling.

Man @kevinw94 is spot on, I went from "I'll just grab a couple quick games" to a full blown collection in my living room in like two months, it's wild how fast that can happen.
