Keeping board game bits sorted with a wall pegboard

My board game collection was a mess, with pieces everywhere after game nights. I put up a pegboard on the wall near my table to get things in order. Now I use hooks for bagged tokens and small baskets for dice and cards. For instance, all my Terraforming Mars cubes go in one basket, and ticket tokens from Ticket to Ride hang on hooks. Setting up games is quicker because I can see where everything is. Even with my job driving long hauls, I can start playing right away when I get home. Have you tried any wall storage tricks for your games?

Pegboards are a lifesaver for keeping everything in plain sight.

Smart move with the pegboard! I did something similar with clear spice jars for all the little bits, and it cuts setup time in half. Maybe add a small shelf under it for the rule books.

Used to skip pegboards for being too much work... but seeing @thomas_campbell39's spice jar trick has me convinced. Might try that shelf idea too.

Last summer, I finally put up a pegboard after years of putting it off. Those clear jars really do keep all the small parts from getting lost. You'll be glad you took the time to set it up right.
