My usual film group actually played a board game with me
I've been asking my friends to play games for months, but they always pick movies. Last Friday, I brought over a light cooperative game and they agreed to try it. We spent the evening laughing and working together to beat the game. It was a small thing, but it felt like a real win for our hangouts. I mean, idk, maybe it's just me but it's nice to share this hobby.

Totally agree @the_betty, my own routine stays the same too.

Heard about my friend Sam when his kid started school last year. He was convinced his whole daily routine would get flipped upside down. But he just moved his work start time an hour earlier and kept everything else the same. Still took his afternoon walk, still listened to the same podcast during lunch, all that. He told me clinging to those small habits made the big change feel way less stressful. It really shows how people just fold new things into their old routines instead of starting over.
