Overheard a guy say his group "plays to win, not for fun" at my FLGS last Friday
He was dead serious too, bragging about how he crushes newbies in 45 minutes flat. I get being competitive but we're rolling dice and moving cardboard, not fighting for rent money. Has anyone else met a player who treats casual games like a world championship qualifier?
