Ruthless tournament organizer banned me for 6 months over a rule dispute

Three years ago I ran a small regional qualifier in Columbus and had a guy argue for 20 minutes about a card interaction he was wrong about. Last month I saw the same type at a charity event, and the organizer kicked him out on the spot, no refund on his $40 entry. I get strict rulings, but banning someone for being annoying feels like the hobby is forgetting we're all here to play games. Has anyone else dealt with organizers that treat rule lawyers like criminals?
