Shoutout to that guy at Gen Con who taught me to stop hoarding expansions
I was at a demo table in Indianapolis, trying to cram every expansion into a game of Lords of Waterdeep. This older dude just said 'you're missing the point, the base game is already a full meal.' I sold three unopened boxes the next week. Anyone else get stuck in the 'more stuff is better' trap?

Ever notice how this happens with streaming services too? You pay for all the add-ons but just end up rewatching the same few shows.

Ugh, totally! I pay for like three different services and my watch history is just "The Office" and "Parks and Rec" on a loop. I added that fancy movie channel last month and all I did was watch "Clueless" for the tenth time. It feels so silly when you look at the bill.

Starting with a shared account with my brother cut our bills in half. We pick one service at a time and just rotate every few months. That way we actually watch new stuff instead of paying for things we ignore. Maybe try that with a friend or family member to shake things up.
