That little kid at the game store put me in my place
I was demoing a heavy euro game at Dragon's Lair in Austin and this 9 year old asked why I kept re-reading the rulebook instead of just playing. He said the rules are just suggestions until someone wins, which honestly made me realize I've been overthinking every game night for like 5 years. Has anyone else had a moment where a newbie's take made you loosen up your whole approach to teaching games?
