A guy in Baton Rouge said to weld my tubes in short beads, saved me a headache
I was building a small boiler for a shop project and this old timer in Baton Rouge told me to run 2 inch beads and let each one cool before the next. I tried it on a test piece first and sure enough, no warping at all compared to my usual long passes. Has anyone else picked up a small habit like that from a random guy that ended up being solid?
