Hand-cutting my own bevels back in 2012 vs. paying for machine bevels now
I used to burn 3 hours with a grinder on every plate seam before welding, but after a shop in Tulsa quoted me $40 to torch-bevel a 1 inch plate, I never looked back, so who else still hand-grinds because their boss thinks machine beveling is a waste of money?
