Went to a refinery in Gary and saw a boiler with a 'do not pet' sign

Stopped by a job site in Gary last Tuesday to check on a weld repair and spotted the strangest thing. Somebody taped a handwritten sign on a 40 year old boiler that said 'DO NOT PET, HE BITES'. I laughed so hard I almost dropped my chipping hammer. Turns out the night crew started it as a joke after one guy got a steam burn on his arm. The foreman left it up because it actually made the new hires ask questions before touching anything. Has anyone else seen weird signs or labels stuck on equipment that just make the job better?
