I just finished my 100th book repair

It was a 1920s copy of 'The Great Gatsby' with a broken spine and loose pages. I didn't keep count until I logged it in my work journal last night. That number really hit me, thinking of all those books saved from the bin. How do you all mark your own milestones in this craft?

Ngl I'm just not sure why it needs to be a big deal. You fixed a book, that's what you do right? Not everything needs a journal entry and a milestone celebration. It's cool you hit 100 but treating it like some kind of spiritual journey seems a bit much. At the end of the day it's a stack of paper with glue on it, not a life achievement.

Why even keep track like that?

Isn't it just for personal peace of mind?
