My $9 awl from the flea market changed my whole rounding process

Picked up this beat-up awl at a flea market in Austin for nine bucks. I figured it was junk, but the handle fits my hand perfectly and the point is sharper than my fancy one. I've been using it for three weeks now and my rounding and backing is way smoother, no more fighting the leather. Anyone else got a random tool that just clicks with them and you can't go back to the pricey stuff?
