Was ready to swear off PVA glue forever after a bad batch last year, but now I'm wondering if I just had bad storage habits.

A buddy in my guild kept insisting I was storing it wrong because my joints kept failing, and after trying his fridge-storage method for the last six months I have to admit the stuff works way better now, so is temperature control really that big a deal or did I just get a dud bottle?

@tarar38 I used to disagree but you totally changed my mind on that glue thing.

Whoa there, slow down - is glue really that big of a deal? I mean, I've had some bad glue experiences too (who hasn't, right?), but calling it heartbreak feels like a stretch. @tarar38, you might need to save that strong language for something like stepping on a Lego in the dark.

Oh totally, temperature is a way bigger deal than people realize. I used to keep my glue in the garage and it would get all clumpy and useless after a few months (like a bad batch every time). Fridge storage fixed that right up, so I think a lot of those "bad bottles" people complain about are just user error.
