How team plant checks at the greenhouse changed my tune

I was dead set on managing my section without help from coworkers. After we began daily group inspections, I noticed fewer sick plants and less repeat work. Now I get why sharing the load makes sense.

Greenhouses have natural ups and downs with plant health. Honestly I wonder if doing a full group check every single day is overkill. It seems like a lot of time spent talking instead of just fixing the few plants that actually look bad. Tbh maybe you just got a lucky stretch with fewer bugs or better weather. I get the idea but making it a whole daily thing feels like we're acting like we're saving lives, not just watering some ferns.

Feel like you might be right about the daily checks being overkill. Sometimes it's better to just spot the bad ones and fix em quick.
