My $30 soil test kit saved my whole herb garden
I was losing basil and mint plants left and right for months. The kit showed my soil pH was way off and had almost no nitrogen. I fixed it with some simple stuff from the garden store. What other problems have you caught with a soil test?

Oh man, my buddy had a similar thing with his tomatoes. The test found crazy high potassium, which was actually blocking other nutrients. He was adding the wrong fertilizer for months. It explained why the plants were huge but never fruiting.
