My little cactus collection just hit 50 plants and I'm not sure what to do now.

It started with a single prickly pear from a farmers market in Phoenix, and now my whole sunroom is full. I never meant to get this many, but each one just seemed too cool to pass up. How do you guys manage space when a hobby gets this big?

Fifty cacti seems like a manageable problem to have.

Try moving a single one and see how that goes. You'll quickly learn that manageable is not the right word. Fifty is just a slow motion disaster.

Manageable" is what I used to think too. Then I had to move one.

Oh man, moving a single cactus is a special kind of nightmare. Rosepark, fifty of them sounds like a full on horror movie plot. You'd need a suit of armor just to water them. I can't even imagine the logistics, or the number of tiny spines you'd be pulling out of your hands for weeks.
