My neighbor said houseplants are just 'green clutter' and I'm still mad about it

He said it while I was repotting a Monstera I've had for 6 years. Has anyone else had to deal with people who just don't get it?

That "green clutter" comment misses how much life they bring to a room.

Totally agree. My place felt so sterile before I got a few plants. Just having something alive in the corner makes a huge difference.

My friend's apartment has 27 plants now... it's like a little jungle that calms you down the second you walk in.
