Can we talk about that $60 brick hammer I thought was junk?
Bought a 24 oz Estwing at a flea market in Akron back in March, the handle was all taped up and the seller wanted $60 which felt steep for something so beat up. I figured it was a waste but my old hammer had a loose head so I grabbed it anyway. Turned out the thing was dead straight and the balance is way better than what I was using, I keep reaching for it now. It's got me wondering what else I passed on at that table. Did I miss out on anything else flea markets are hiding, or is a good hammer just a good hammer?
