My old patio job shows the real difference 8 years can make
I went back to a house in Columbus last month to quote a new walkway, and the patio I laid back in 2017 still looked almost brand new. Same brick, same sand, and the homeowner said they never even resealed it once. Meanwhile, a job I did in 2021 with cheaper pavers from a big box store is already sinking in two spots and needs a full relay. The cost gap was about $400 more back then, but it clearly paid off. Has anyone else seen this kind of split between material grades on their older work?

Clay body in cheap brick crumbles way faster, nobody talks about that.
