My uncle swore by using old bed sheets for mortar mixing
He said it catches all the dust and you just toss it when done. Tried it last month on a small patio job in Dallas and yeah, way less cleanup than tarps. Anyone else use weird stuff for mixing?

Huh, sheets work but they soak up moisture way more than tarps do in my experience.

Three tarps later and I've learned the hard way wet sheets just hold everything in.
