PSA: Cinder block fiasco at the Lowe's in Topeka taught me a lesson
I grabbed a pallet of 8x8x16 blocks last Saturday without checking if they were all the same lot number. Halfway through the first wall, the colors didn't match at all, looked like a patchwork quilt. Had to tear down 4 rows and swap 'em out with the right batch from the back. Anyone else had a supplier mix lots on you like that?

Held my breath the whole time reading this, been there with a mismatched lot of paver stones from a different store. Lowe's seems to be the king of mixing up batches on pallets without labeling them, I swear they just grab whatever is closest. Had to haul a whole pallet back once because half of them were a different shade of gray, looked like a checkerboard in my driveway. Told the manager it was like buying a new shirt that doesn't match your pants, just ruins the whole outfit. Hope you got a discount on the second batch at least.

Oh come on lol is a mismatched paver shade really that deep? I get it's annoying but you're acting like they handed you a brick that's made of cheese or something. Just throw some sand over the driveway and call it rustic or whatever people say when their DIY projects look half baked. Honestly if you're staring at your driveway that close to notice the shade of gray you might be too invested in the whole thing. They're rocks on the ground, not a museum exhibit.

Always take photos before you haul anything back, they try to fight you on the refund otherwise.
