Got charged $9 for a side salad at the diner near my office in Boise
I went to the little diner two blocks from my desk on Tuesday and ordered their lunch special. The salad on the side was a tiny bowl of mostly iceberg and they rang it up at $9 by itself, which felt nuts for what I got. I started bringing a bag of carrots and a can of beans from home after that. Has anyone found a cheap lunch spot near downtown Boise that doesn't gouge you on the sides?
