I thought frozen veggies were a rip off until I added up one week of dinners
Two weeks ago I was at Aldi and threw a $1.15 bag of frozen broccoli in my cart mostly out of laziness. That night I made stir fry with it and honestly could not tell it apart from the fresh head I paid $2.79 for. So I tracked every dinner for the next 7 days using frozen peppers, spinach, and corn, and my veggie total came to $9.40 for the week. That was about half what I normally spend, and nothing went bad in the drawer like it always does. Has anyone else done a side by side like this and stuck with it, or did you go back to fresh?
