Overheard my neighbor say she feeds her family of 4 on $60 a week
Honestly, I had to ask her how after I heard that at the mailbox. She said she buys a whole chicken for $7 and stretches it into 4 meals, like soups and tacos. Has anyone else tried a meal plan that low and actually stuck with it?

Oh my goodness, that's impressive. I tried doing a $50 a week budget a few years back and ended up eating so many beans I started having weird dreams about them. It taught me to appreciate a good slow cooker, though, because you can throw just about any cheap cut of meat in there with some broth and it comes out tender.
