Spent $23 on a single pot of chili and it lasted me 4 nights
Last week I was dead broke after paying rent late here in Austin. I had $30 left until payday. Threw together a big pot of chili with dried beans, a can of diced tomatoes, some cheap stew meat on sale for $4, and an onion. Cost me about $23 total with the spices. Ate it for dinner Sunday through Wednesday, and I still had enough to freeze for one more meal. What's the longest a single recipe has stretched for you guys?
