TIL my grocery store marks down meat at 7pm, not 8
Walked in last Tuesday at 7:15 for milk and saw a whole rack of pork chops at 30% off, first time I ever caught the sticker guy mid-tag. Has anyone else figured out the exact markdown time at their local store, or is this just a weird quirk of mine?

Dang, I found out my local store does it at 6:30 but only on certain days, so it took me a few weeks to catch the pattern. I just started stopping by on my way home from work around that time and noticed the stickers come out right when the deli closes. It’s definitely worth asking a meat counter guy directly, they usually know the exact schedule and will tell you if you’re not weird about it.
