I used to book flights the second I saw a good price, now I wait for Tuesday mornings
For a long time, I'd just jump on any flight deal to Europe, like a $500 round trip to Dublin. But after tracking prices for a trip to Lisbon last fall, I saw they dropped by almost $80 every Tuesday around 10 AM. I think airlines release new sales then. Now I check on Tuesdays and have saved a lot. Has anyone else found a specific day or time that works best for cheap flights?

Oh totally! I started doing the same thing after noticing a pattern for flights to Denver. The prices always seem to dip late on Tuesday nights, like after 9 PM. I snagged a ticket for $180 round trip last month when it was over $250 just that afternoon. It's crazy how much you can save just by waiting a few days.

That's a solid tip from @carr.luna, but man, tracking flight prices that closely sounds like a part-time job. I tried it once and spent more time checking my phone than I saved on the fare. It feels like the airlines change the rules every time someone figures out a pattern.

Lol I feel you Keith. I tried that whole tracking thing and ended up with 12 price alerts and a weird sense of loyalty to an airline app. Honestly felt like I was training for a weird travel spy mission that only saved me like twenty bucks.
