My $15 travel towel completely fell apart in a Berlin hostel sink last Tuesday.
The stitching came undone after one gentle hand wash, leaving me with a pile of damp rags and no way to dry off. I had to use a clean t-shirt instead, which was a total pain. What's the cheapest towel you've actually used for more than a year without it breaking?

Honestly, that's the best feeling... got a cheap blanket from a big box store that's outlasted way fancier ones. Sometimes you just get lucky with a basic item and it sticks around forever. Makes you wonder why we ever bother buying the expensive stuff. That towel owes you nothing at this point.
