My local park's summer concert series is a TOTAL steal for travelers
I live near Riverside Park, and they host free concerts every Friday in summer. You can bring your own snacks and drinks to save cash. The music is always good, and it feels like a real local spot. My friend from out of town came by last week, and we had a blast without opening our wallets. It's a perfect budget-friendly night out.

Wait you seriously thought park concerts were boring? The whole point is you get to be outside with good music and bring your own snacks. Riverside has this vibe where everyone's just chilling on blankets, it's way better than some stuffy indoor venue. You've been missing out for no reason. Definitely go next year, just remember to get there early for a good spot.
