The hostel receptionist was right about Tuesday flights, saved me $140

Tbh I always ignored the 'fly midweek' advice cause my schedule never fits. But last month I had flexibility and the guy at the front desk in Lisbon said Tuesdays are dead cheap. I checked and yeah, the Tuesday flight was $140 less than the Saturday one I was about to book. I ended up shifting my whole trip by 3 days and it covered two extra nights at the hostel. Has anyone else found a specific day that's consistently cheaper from their home airport?
