TIL a hostel in Prague will give you a free beer if you bring your own towel

Saved me 5 bucks a night. Anyone know other spots with weird little perks like that?

That's the kind of deal that makes backpacking feel like a win. Hostels in Berlin sometimes trade a free shot for a good Google review. Always worth asking at check-in if they have any little swaps like that.

Oh man, asking at check-in is key. I once got a free beer in Prague just for tagging them on my Instagram story. Another spot in Lisbon gave me a discount on a walking tour for a quick review right there in the lobby. It never hurts to ask, the worst they can say is no. Those little perks really add up on a long trip.

Honestly feels like a lot of work for a free shot... like is that google review really worth two bucks of cheap liquor. Just give me a clean bed and a quiet room, that's the real win. The whole barter system at check-in is kinda funny when you think about it.
