Am I the only one who was shocked that my grocery bill went up $80 in a month?
I was looking at my receipts from the last four weeks at the Hy-Vee on 3rd Street and my total went from $220 to $300, and I couldn't figure out why. Turns out the store brand pasta and canned tomatoes I always buy went up like 75 cents each, and it adds up fast when you buy 15 of them. Does anyone else track this stuff closely enough to notice, and if so, what's the one item that surprised you the most?

Saw a news piece saying store brand prices jumped more than the big names this year, which is wild since they used to be the cheap safe bet. My jaw hit the floor when coffee creamer went up almost a dollar.
