Cooked freezer meals for a month and saved $300+
I used to hit the drive thru like 4 times a week. Easy $12-$15 each time on burgers and fries. Then last month I had a slow week at work and decided to spend a Sunday prepping. I bought a big pack of chicken breasts on sale for $8, a bag of rice for $4, and frozen veggies for $3. Threw together 12 meals in those cheap plastic containers. Threw them in the freezer. Total was around $30 for the whole batch. Now instead of swinging by McDonald's after a job, I just grab one and microwave it. Has anyone else tried meal prepping and actually stuck with it? How do you keep it from getting boring?

Man that's a solid win. It really adds up fast when you look at what you were spending before. I've been doing it for a few months now and the trick for me is switching up the sauce or seasoning so it doesn't feel like the same thing every day. What kind of meals did you make with that chicken and rice?
