Hot take: my $12 envelope system from a dollar store in Tulsa outlasted the $60 budgeting app
Everyone at my old job said paper envelopes were pointless and that an app was the grown up choice. I paid 60 bucks for one and kept forgetting to log my stops, so by the 20th of the month I had no clue where the gas money went. The cheap envelope set from the dollar store on 11th Street in Tulsa is what actually kept me on track, mostly because I can't ignore a stack of ones getting thin. What's the low tech thing that works better for you than the fancy option?
