Last Tuesday was my best budgeting day in months

I got hit with three separate refunds all in one day - $47 from an overcharged utility bill, $12 from a mistaken fee on my credit card, and a $25 rebate from a vacuum I bought back in March at Target. It felt like the universe just decided to throw me a bone, you know? Has anyone else had a random day where everything just lined up money-wise?

Save that refund money in a separate jar or account right away, it's way too easy to treat it like free cash and blow it on something dumb later. Just let it sit there for when your budget needs a safety net.
